Vice President, Project Finance
Nathan Ringelstetter is responsible for Sunraycer’s project finance efforts, including financial structuring, capital raising, execution, and M&A analysis. Prior to Sunraycer, Nathan led the project finance team at JERA Americas, and previously held project finance roles at other developers including Pine Gate Renewables, Competitive Power Ventures, and Standard Solar. During his career, Nathan has worked on the execution of debt and tax equity financings for over 6.3 GW of energy facilities, representing over $5 billion of capital across a range of technologies including solar, battery storage, wind, and thermal power. Nathan is a CFA Charterholder with a BA and MBA from the University of Rochester.
Vice President, Project Finance
Nathan Krieger is responsible for leading the execution of Sunraycer’s commercial strategies, including the development, M&A, permitting, transmission, and offtake functions.
Prior to joining Sunraycer, Nathan was the Sr. Director of Development for 174 Power Global (Hanwha Energy), and previously as Country Manager for the United States at Zelestra (formerly known as Solarpack). Nathan has been involved in the development of 2 GW+ of utility scale and C&I solar projects throughout the United States. Nathan holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
Vice President, Development
Kyle has over a decade of project experience ranging across the development lifecycle.
Prior to joining Sunraycer, he helped found Pedal Steel Solar where he led the development strategy and execution while actively acquiring mid to late-stage projects. Hailing from a small town in Kansas, Kyle began his career at Tradewind Energy developing over 1 GW of wind and solar assets from the start of the leasing campaign to COD. Tradewind Energy was acquired by Enel Green Power where Kyle led a team developing and financing projects across the Midwest. He has a passion for curating strong partnerships within project communities and amongst our development partners.
Managing Director, Finance
Ben Snydacker is responsible for the execution of Sunraycer’s financial strategies including all corporate and project finance efforts.
Prior to co-founding Sunraycer, Ben was VP of Project Finance at Silicon Ranch, where he led project structuring, valuation and new market research. During his tenure, Ben oversaw the structuring and financing of 1.5 GW of solar and storage. In addition to his time at Silicon Ranch, Ben spent seven years at EY where he led the firm’s renewable energy tax equity advisory practice and advised on over $15b of transactions.
Senior Vice President, Project Execution
Roger Baele is responsible for overseeing the preconstruction and construction phases of projects, collaborating directly with Sunraycer’s Project Development team, contractors, and suppliers.
Roger has been involved with the design, procurement, and construction of more than 2.5 gigawatts (GW) of PV solar projects across the United States. Prior to joining Sunraycer, Roger was SVP of Engineering and Construction at Silicon Ranch, and has held senior leadership positions at Strata, Ecoplexus and First Solar.
Vice President, Legal
Tyler Hall leads Sunraycer’s legal function, combining his experience in project development, site control, title, permitting, offtake, and project finance.
Prior to joining Sunraycer, Tyler served as in-house counsel to Avantus (formerly known as 8minute Solar Energy), and previously as Associate General Counsel for Dynamic Energy, a solar developer focused primarily on distributed generation. Tyler received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.A. in Political Science and German magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
Vice President, Transmission
Kiran Kota leads Sunraycer’s transmission function, leveraging 17 years of transmission
planning and operations.
Prior to joining Sunraycer, Kiran was Director of Transmission at National Grid Renewables. Kiran began his career at Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), where he spent over a decade as a Realtime Operations Engineer and Senior Planning Engineer, ensuring the safety and reliability of the Texas grid.
Chief Executive Officer
David Lillefloren is responsible for overseeing and growing Sunraycer’s renewable energy platform, including its efforts to acquire and develop solar and battery storage projects.
Prior to joining Sunraycer, David worked for Constellation as a Director in the Asset Management & Power Services group for 18 years where he held a range of responsibilities including third-party O&M services, M&A activity, power asset integration, partnership plants, divestitures, and retired assets.
From 2014-2020 David served on the Board of Directors for Conergy.
